Bagyong Chedeng enters PAR and Intensifies today (April 1)

PAGASA advised earlier to the public that 'MAYSAK' is now Super Typhoon and might enter Philippine area of responsibility tonight or tomorrow morning. Once the typhoon inside the PAR, it will called bagyong 'Chedeng.'


Local weather agency alerted everyone that bagyong 'Chedeng' has intensified further while approaching the PAR on Wednesday, April 1.

PAGASA said that the cyclone eye was seen at 1,280 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar as of 11A.M. today and forecast to move west northwest at 17 kph.

It packed with maximum sustained winds of 215 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph.

According to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), they captured the image of super typhoon MAYSAK and released the image in a HD copy.

So expect your weather condition on Good Friday and Black Saturday as a rainy. Because PAGASA said that the cyclone may make landfall on Friday or Saturday and affect Aurora, Cagayan, Isabela, Quezon and Bicol region.
