The pretty daughter of Senator Gringo Honasan turns 4 chairs on her performance on Sunday, Nov.2, at the blind auditions of the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines." Kai Honasan plays the ukulele and give self rendition on Katy Perry's hit, "Teenage Dream."

The pretty daughter of Senator Gringo Honasan performed on Sunday, Nov.2, at the blind auditions of the second season of 'The Voice of the Philippines.'

After turning the 4 chairs on blind auditions, the 25-year-old singer Kai was smiling and said, "This is me, trying to prove to my dad that I can make my own story."

She was accompanied by her Senator father on stage, Gringo Honasan showed his support to his daughter what ever result it may be. Then Kai eventually chose to be part of Team Bamboo. She is the second member of the team.

Bamboo said to Kai, "Who has been crazy enough, brave enough, to bring artists like yourself forward to battles, forward to the semis. People say, 'Hindi 'to bumabagay, it doesn't fit sort of a spectrum.' Sa akin, it doesn't matter. Ako, it's about artistry, it's about growth over prize. Ako lang, I think I'll be a good coach, right, Dad?"
