Sarah Geronimo wins 2014 MTV EMA Best Southeast Asia Act

The singer/actress Sarah Geronimo was recognized by MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) as the "Best Southeast Asia Act" for 2014. She beats the other nominees in the same category such as Agnez Mo,Ho Ngoc Ha, NOAH, SLOT MACHINE, Stefanie Sun and Yuna.

The 26-year-old singer and "The Voice of the Philippines" coach was moved to the next category in MTV EMA 2014. Sarah G will be competing in the regions Southeast Asia/China & Hong Kong/Taiwan.

The announcement was posted on MTVEMA official website and stated that, "You voted like crazy to support your favourite local nominee. Now the winner has been chosen…but this is just the beginning!"

There only be one nominee to represent their region in the final round of Worldwide Act, and Sarah G will represent the Southeast Asia (SEA) against BiBi Zhou for (China & Hong Kong) and Hebe Tien for (Taiwan).
