2014 Asian Games: BMX Rider won PH's 1st Gold Medal

Incheon, South Korea - The 27-years-old BMX rider bags the country's first gold medal in the BMX cycling tournament. Daniel Caluag represented the Philippines in the 2014 Asian Games.


2014 Asian Games: BMX Rider Daniel Caluag won PH's 1st Gold Medal

The Fil-Am rider was born on January 15, 1987 in Harbor City, California, United States. Caluag represented also the country in the BMX competition of the 2012 Summer Olympics, according to Wikipedia.

Then on Wednesday, October 1, Caluag successfully won the Philippines' first gold medal in the men's BMX Cycling at the 17th Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea.


As of counting, The Philippines now has 1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals in the 2014 Asian Games.
