Bagyong Santi developed into Tropical Storm - PAGASA

Tropical Depression Santi developed into Tropical Storm as it move faster to reach Luzon region. Some provinces in Luzon is now placed under storm warning signal no. 1, this is according to state weather bureau on Thursday, October 10, 2013.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 11 am today, "Tropical Storm "SANTI" intensified further and moving closer to Eastern Luzon."

Six of the provinces are under public storm warning signal no. 1, namely as, Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon and Camarines Norte.

PAGASA expected that those affected areas will experience 30-60 kph winds in at least 36 hours and must be alerted against flash floods and landslides.

Light to moderate rains are expected to many parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, because of the outer cloud bands of the tropical cyclone.
