Tropical Depression Odette Update as of September 17, 2013

Tropical Depression Odette is moving over Philippine Sea and maintained its strength, according to the State weather bureau as of 5 am today, September 17, 2013.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of today says that the center of Tropical Depression "ODETTE" was estimated at 830 km East of Tuguegarao City with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph. It is forecast to move West at 7 kph.

PAGASA also said that Tropical Depression Odette will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon while within the PAR, which, in turn, will bring rain to Central and southern Luzon and the Visayas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the Luzon and Visayas may expect "cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms," according to PAGASA.
