State Weather Update as of September 10, 2013 | LPA at East of Visayas and Thunderstorm in NCR

The PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration} update as of 5 pm today, September 10, Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at East of Visayas and floods in the areas of Metro Manila and the North Luzon Expressway due to thunderstorm, Tuesday afternoon.

Because of the thunderstorm, floods also affected nearby provinces such as, San Juan Del Monte Bulacan, Sta Maria Bulacan, Marilao Bulacan, Rizal (Rodriguez), Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Laguna, and Cavite.

PAGASA weather advisory at 5:05 pm today posted on Facebook says that Thunderstorm is affecting portions of #Quezon, #Tarlac, #Rizal, #Bulacan, #MetroManila ,#Zambales, #Bataan, #Batangas, #Laguna and #Cavite which may persist within 2 hours

State weather forecaster advised residents to "take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods."
