State Weather Update as of September 2, 2013 | Habagat affecting Extreme Northern Luzon

PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) announced earlier that Southwest monsoon (Habagat) weakens but warns for more rainfall to northern Luzon.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5 p.m. today, indicated partly cloudy skies with isolated rain for Monday, Sept 2, in most major cities. And weak southwest monsoon affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.

In Metro Manila and the rest of the country will "have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms," PAGASA said.

PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds from the south to southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
