Typhoon Labuyo Update | Strongest Typhoon so far this year

State weather forecasters said that Typhoon Labuyo is the strongest typhoon to hit the country so far this year. Labuyo center was estimated at Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora, according to PAGASA.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 7 pm today, " the eye of Typhoon "LABUYO" was located based on available data 130 km North of Virac, Catanduanes or 220 km Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora."

PAGASA added that Typhoon "LABUYO" has intensified slightly as it continues to move closer to Isabela-Aurora Area.

PAGASA alerted residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signal #3,#2 & #1 against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under signal #3 and #2 are alerted against storm surges.
