Even though Tropical Storm Maring was far from Philippines area of responsibility, state weather forecasters said that rains will continue over Luzon and Western Visayas region because of southwest monsoon. Affected area by floods in Metro Manila and nearby provinces cancelled their classes on Thursday until Friday, August 22 to 23, 2013.
