Bagyong Kiko Update August 6, 2013

State weather forecaster estimated Bagyong Kiko to continues moving away from the country area of responsibility. While the weak Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Luzon.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5 am today, "Tropical Depression "KIKO" was estimated based on all available data at 620 km Northwest of Coron, Palawan (13.5°N, 114.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 20 kph."

PAGASA systems are expected rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

There will be a cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Western and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao and CARAGA, according to PAGASA.
