Gilas Pilipinas Won on Opening Game of FIBA Asia Championship 2013

The Philippine national team 'Gilas Pilipinas' won on the opening game of FIBA Asia Championship 2013. Gilas defeated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia team, Thursday at the MOA Arena.

Gilas Pilipinas Won on first day of FIBA Asia Championship


From the first quarter game, Gilas already got 8-0, but suddenly they lost the lead completely and made it 16-14 in Saudi Arabia's favor.

Luckily, in the second quarter, they managed to have 7 points lead from KSA, and in third quarter game, they got 11 points lead.

All in all, Gilas Pilipinas win by 12 points in fourth quarter in the scores of 78 - 66.

This is a great opportunity for Gilas to become one of the winners in the 27th FIBA Asia Championship Men's Basketball game.
