3 people died in Typhoon Utor devastation 13 still missing | PAGASA Weather Update

Typhoon Utor is the strongest so far to hit the land of the Philippines, Monday, August 12. And at least 3 people have died, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration report.

At least 3 people have died because of Typhoon Labuyo (international name Utor),

Monday morning when Typhoon Utor slammed into the Philippines near the Casapsapan Bay.

According to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), a man was killed during a landslide in Baguio City, while two people were killed in Casiguran, Aurora, according to Mayor Ricardo Bitong.

Thirteen fisherman are still missing, 7 fishermen from Camarines Norte and 6 from Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Typhoon Utor with a local codename "Labuyo" will continue to move away from the country.

PAGASA posted on its website as of 9 pm today, "Typhoon "LABUYO" was located at 270 km West of Laoag city."
