PAGASA New LPA Update July 2013

State weather forecast estimated a new low-presure area in the region of West of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro. PAGASA clarifies that there's no tropical cyclone inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5:00 am today, " the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 170 km West of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro (13.5°N, 119.5°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas. "

PAGASA said to its official Twitter account as of 9:30 am today, July 4, 2013;
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, according to PAGASA.
