12 injured in a collapsed building in New York

A total of 12 people who was injured in a collapsed building in New York City. Four firefighters and eight people were injured on Wednesday, as reported by The Examiner site.

According to local press, a group of bug bombs who mistakenly and accidentally blew out a load bearing wall which used to kill roaches and other pests using a bomb.

FDNY Assistant Chief Robert Boyce said, "A resident in his fourth floor apartment was having lunch at the time the building explosion occurred. He described it as hearing a 'boom, like a bombing', like an earthquake."

The reason of the collapse was not immediately known by the authorities, and they believed that the caused of explosion was by a gas explosion.

The firefighters control the fire at about 1:30 p.m., the investigation is on-going.
