TV5 requested the airing of PBA games for the rest of the Commissioner’s Cup from IBC13 to Channel 5, the letter was signed by Chot Reyes, the TV5 Sports head.

Unfortunately, the contract as block-timer on IBC 13 will expire next month and TV5 bosses already said that they’re no longer renewing their pact with the government-sequestered network.

PBA said in a statement, "Taking into consideration the possible negative impact on our television and live audience with respect to the abrupt change in channel and schedule of games, the board decided that the airing of PBA games in IBC13 under the schedule provided by the PBA and as provided in the television contract shall continue to be enforced and in effect."
