San Mig Coffee win against Barako Bull despite 'goaltending' confusion

A controversial game match has just happen between San Mig Coffee and Barako Bull yesterday, after Rafi Reavis, San Mig's player was said to commit a 'goaltending violation' but still the referees have stand on San Mig Coffee's 92 - 91 (w-l) that ended the game.

Some coaching staff and players from the Barako Bull Energy Cola got angry after what happen in the match, but PBA commissioner Chito Salud explained the situation.

He said in an interview, “Basta tumama na ng ring, puwede nang tapikin ‘yun,” and added, “The only time you can’t do that is if there’s no time left in the clock.”

As for the Barako Bull's side, they're planning if they will put the game under protest.

Barako Bull's head coach, Junel Baculi said, “We will review the tape and we will see what actions we should do,” said Baculi. “If you’re going to ask an opinion, my opinion is the basket should have counted. We were robbed of a win."
