Samsung Electronics won't stop just because they have failed to win on court against Apple Inc. with a 1.05B damages cost last week. They won't just let their rival take it all now that Apple is pursuing to ban 8 units of their smartphones in US although Galaxy Note is not included in it.

Today, another great new smartphone was launched by the South Korean firm, this is the second generation of Samsung's Galaxy Note phone-cum-tablet. The launched was taken place at Europe's biggest electronics show in Berlin yesterday.

Lee Sun-tae, analyst at NH Investment & Securities said, "There won't be huge innovative changes in design, but the Note 2 will feature quite a few improvements and enable Samsung to carry on its strong sales momentum in the category," and added, "With the launch, Samsung will also be trying to turn around downbeat sentiment after the U.S. legal defeat."

The South Korean group is very much positive that the New Note will increase their sales after it's release.

K Shin, Samsung's chief of mobile business said, "I am pretty confident it will even outsell its predecessor."

According to a technology related site, this new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a thinner and slightly bigger 5.5-inch screen feature, a powerful quad-core processor with an Android OS 4.1 version 'Jelly Bean' and a more improved stylus function.

Geoff Blaber, CCS Insight analyst said, "The Galaxy Note II is a strong successor to its surprise hit predecessor. Its clear differentiation is a big advantage in a congested fourth quarter market."
