PAGASA spotted new ALPA in Northern Luzon

Lot's of area in Luzon haven't yet recovered after almost a month of rainfalls from Bagyong Gener, Hanging Habagat and Bagyong Helen but today, another Active Low Pressure Area is seen at 355 km East of Aparri, Cagayan as of 2:00 p.m, August 18, via PAGASA weather forecast.

PAGASA weather bulletin posted as of 5:00 p.m., "at 2:00 p.m. today, the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 360 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan (18.8°N 125.3°E). "

According still from PAGASA scattered rains and thunderstorms will cover Northern and Central Luzon specifically mentioned are the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Isabela. That is why residents near mountainous areas from this provinces are warned against possible flashfloods and landslides.
