CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 proud to be Gay

The CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 primary anchor admitted and proud that he is gay. He released a public statement on Monday that he is gay. Cooper doesn't want to hide something although "privacy" is important for all even to a journalists.

CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" anchor shared to The Daily Beast, "The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud."

Anderson Cooper is now 45-years old, he is an American journalist, author, and television personality.

Cooper said in Andrew Sullivan's "The Dish" blog, "There continue to be far too many incidences of bullying of young people, as well as discrimination and violence against people of all ages, based on their sexual orientation, and I believe there is value in making clear where I stand."

According to the New York Times, Cooper is "the most prominent openly gay journalist on American television."
