iTunes Online Store launched in 12 Asian countries including Philippines

Apple Inc. officially launched their iTunes online store in 12 countries in Asia including Philippines. With this move, it makes easier for Filipino Apple users to buy and download music and videos.

For Apple Inc, Asia is an increasingly important market for them - operating revenue doubled in the past quarter yearly, surpassing Europe market.

But before only users in the country of Australia, Japan and New Zealand in the Asia Pacific region that have access to buy and download music and video, due to restrictions related to copyright and licensing issues.

The 12 Asian countries that iTunes Online Store become available are Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
