Singer-actor Christian Bautista has been reportedly deported from Indonesia by immigration officers due to the type of his VISA that he used to bring for the past 5 years. This unconfirmed report by local media in Indonesia has became a talk in that country.
According to an interview of ABS-CBN reporters, Christian was given a wrong type of VISA that does not permit him to do any form of labor.
Bautista said, "Hindi pala ‘yun ‘yung working visa that I usually use for the past 5 years. Kinausap ako ng mga officials and I said I usually entrust my papers to my agents."
He said, "Unfortunately nu’ng nakuha ng media sa Indonesia na nasa immigration ako, papalakihin ang story without first investigating. Tapos nakaabot na dito sa Pilipinas na na-deport daw ako."
Bautista added, "They said sorry for the trouble. Pero I appreciated it because it means that the law works. Ang totoong istorya po, hindi ako na-deport. Kinwestyon lang ako ng immigration."
But even the singer has been involved in that incident, his other concert schedule will still continue.
Christian Bautista is scheduled to go back to Jakarta this month of February for a Valentine’s concert in Hotel Mulia.
