The 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) first day of success is only a proof of the vitality of Philippine movies. The opening day of MMFF 2011 was attended and supported by fans and celebrities.
According to the executive committee of the MMFF Ric Camaligan, "from P90 million since 2010, up by P110 million revenue in the first day of the MMFF. It increased by 22 percent."
And as for the record, “Enteng ng Ina Mo” is the biggest earner movie in the first day of MMFF. It earned P38.5 million in the opening day.
Actress comedian Ai Ai delas Alas was so proud and happy for the result of her hard work and she will be more happier if she will be awarded as "best actress" of the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Ai Ai delas Alas said, “Hoping pa rin kumbaga, kasi sa vitamins, iyon ang talagang pampalakas ko, ang mga award.”
