After the NBA China basketball superstar "Yao Ming" retired from his basketball career, he is now selling wine with his family for the tipple in his home country. Yao Ming is venturing into wine business by branding it as "Yao Ming Wine".
Yao Ming Wine is a 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (world's most widely recognized red wine grape) which will sell in China for 3,800 yuan ($600) a bottle.
According to a report, "Yao will sell the first bottle at a charity auction organized by the Special Olympics, for which he serves as a global ambassador."
Meanwhile, Yao Ming will go back to school to pursue his university degree in business management.
