Suspension of Classes in Metro Manila - September 28, 2011

Parents and students are currently searching over the internet if there's a suspension of classes tomorrow, September 28, 2011. Local authorities said, some schools in Metro Manila are remain suspended on Wednesday because of heavy rains and floods.

NCR: Classes will resume tom, Sept 28, except in areas where suspensions have been declared earlier.

Classes in primary and secondary levels in Marikina are suspended on Wednesday, both private and public schools.

Classes from pre-school to high school in Navotas and Malabon are also suspended but public schools only.

Classes in primary and secondary levels in San Mateo and Rodriguez, Rizal, are also suspended, both public and private schools. 

Classes in the following barangays in Valenzuela who were suspended are as follows:

Polo, Balangkas, Pasolo, Coloong, Malanday, Tagalag, Isla, Wawang Pulo, Poblacion, Arkong Bato, Rincon, Mabolo and Bisig.

While in the tertiary level, University of Sto. Tomas has suspended classes in all levels.

The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) in Manila and in Quezon City has no classes on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Department of Education (DepEd) Director Elena Ruiz said, they will announce other class suspensions within Metro Manila at 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) has give to respective colleges and universities to decide suspension of their classes.
