Suspension of classes in Metro Manila - September 27

The Department of Education (DepEd) officially announced that there's no classes today, September 27, 2011. In all primary and secondary levels in Metro Manila. All classes are suspended because of Typhoon Pedring.

DepEd said, "The metropolis was placed under public storm warning signal number 2 on Monday afternoon because of the typhoon."

Local government officials suspended classes in primary and secondary level to the following area;

Sta Rosa Laguna
San Mateo
Rogriguez
Jala-jala
Antipolo
Rizal
Rosario
Gen. Trias
Tanza Cavite
Bacoor Cavite

Isabela
Quirino
Quezon
Nueva Viscaya
Cagayan

Meanwhile, some colleges and universities classes are suspended in all levels.

University of the East Manila
University of the East Caloocan
Central College of the Philippines

University of the Philippines - Manila
Far Eastern University - Manila
Far Eastern University - East Asia
Far Eastern University - Diliman
San Beda College - Manila
Philippine Christian University - Taft Campus
