The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said, Tropical depression Onyok has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) late Monday afternoon.
PAGASA said on its Twitter account:
PAGASA added, "The western sections of Northern and Central Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms."

As of 5:00 PM today(12Sept2011), the Tropical Depression East Northeast of Basco, Batanes has entered PAR and was named "Onyok".'
