Philippine Azkals will play football again and get into the action after they qualified to be one of 4 foreign teams in the 2011 Long Teng Cup. Azkals will play against Hong Kong, Macau, and Chinese Taipei teams.
2011 Long Teng Cup will be held in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei from September 30 to October 4, 2011.

According to Philippine Football Federation (PFF) President Mariano “Nonong” Araneta, “Yes, na-confirm na natin ang participation natin sa Long Teng Cup. The competition will take place sometime late September.”2011 Long Teng Cup will be held in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei from September 30 to October 4, 2011.
