Latest update on Bagyong “Kabayan” as of July 31, 2011, Sunday. According to PAGASA in its severe weather bulletin/update said Typhoon “Kabayan” has intensified further as it moves Northward.
PAGASA Weather report stated that the estimated rainfall amount is from 15 - 25 millimeters per hour within the 800 km diameter of the storm.
PAGASA added, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated to be at 200 km West Northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (17.8°N 118.5°E). It is is expected to bring moderate to heavy rains over the western section of Central and Northern Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Typhoon “Kabayan” at 2:00 a.m. today, was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 965 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.7°N 132.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph.
