The Ultimate Fighter Championship (UFC) is a reality show wherein professional MMA fighters compete with each other to earn a contract with UFC. And because of the great popularity of UFC and MMA in the Philippines, UFC President Dana White believes that The Ultimate Fighter Philippines can start as early as this year.
“We have some plans for Brandon Vera that actually has a lot to do with the Philippines,” White said.
He added that he is impressed with Mark Muñoz, calling him “awesome.”
Muñoz is currently training for his June 11 bout against Damian Maia in UFC 131: Dos Santos vs Carwin
