Light Rail Transit (LRT) operations from Abad Santos to Roosevelt Stations announced to suspend operations on Saturday, May 28 to Monday, May 30 to give way to the integration works at the Line 1 signaling system.
So expect heavy traffic on Monday, May 30, 2011 because of the rush hours and limited numbers of public utility vehicles.
And LRTA said commercial operations in Line 1 will be temporarily limited from Baclaran to Blumetritt Stations during the said period.
But don't worry guys! there will be a shuttle buses to be available during rush hours to passengers who travel from Abad Santos, R. Papa, 5th Avenue, Monumento, Balintawak, Roosevelt stations and back, said Rafael S. Rodriguez, LRTA Administrator.
It aims to improve and speed up rail services on the entire Line 1 system from Baclaran to Roosevelt.
