Jose Rizal, Philippines‘ national hero is now on Facebook. According to reports, the Facebook Page has been set up by Rizal‘s descendants to make their “Lolo Rizal” more accessible to the youth of today.
The FB Page titled “150th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal” was also set up so that Filipinos can monitor the countdown to Jose Rizal‘s 150th birthday. Photos of Rizal’s monuments and some landmarks related to the national hero can be seen on the Facebook Page‘s Photo section.
