Veteran Actor Paquito Diaz has passed away. He was 73. The actor, Francisco Bustillos Diaz in real life, was born on May 28, 1937 in Pampanga.
Diaz was introduced in the movie “Son of Fung Ku.” The actor had done hundreds of films but gained iconic status as the anti-hero in many films with the late Fernando Poe Jr.
He served as an inspiration and did a lot for his constituents. “Kahit hatinggabi po, basta’t may problema sa barangay, kahit tulog na si Daddy, gumigising ‘yan at pumupunta sa problema,” recalled Joko Diaz.
Paquito Diaz suffered respiratory failure and pneumonia.
