In Bicol. The streets of Legaspi City glowed yellow as a horde of Bicolanos participated in the "Bicol Run" today, to celebrate the EDSA 1986 Anniversary.
This run was staged to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the historical EDSA People Power Revolution. Apart from its goal to celebrate the EDSA 1986 anniversary, the "Bicol Run" was also staged to raise funds in building classrooms all over the country.
The "Bicol Run" also became a bonding experience for families and friends.
Among the guests is political satirist Mae Paner, more known as Juana Change, who said she was awed by the Bicolanos' initiative for change through simple activities.
And other guests include National Youth Commission Chair Leon Flores and Myrna Reblando, wife of one of the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre.
