Mobile Advertising Big Hit in 2011

We are now in a digital age, and even mobile devices become more popular than ever before. In Asia, telecommunications business is showing great promise especially as many markets, including the Philippines.

As today, mobile telecommunications devices for various needs have been increasing. Asians are already open to accept mobile advertising and other similar services.

According to Rohit Dadwal, Managing Director for the industry group Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), in Asia Pacific region is expected to get the lion’s share of the $13 billion to $14 billion in mobile advertising shares for 2011, followed by North America and Europe.

At the top priorities of these companies is to employ better permission-based marketing strategies to overcome the negative perception that mobile advertising is spam.

Mobile phones will have a major platform for business-to-consumer transactions.

In addition, mobile blogging will continue to proliferate through 2011. Free SMS, voice calls and even video calls are expected to happen in 2011, largely due to the potential of running ads along with these services.
