New Year’s Countdown to 2011 at the Rizal Park

Where do you want to spend your New Year's countdown? Some of us want to make a difference to welcome new years eve. They celebrate new years eve alone, and others go to public places to witness a fireworks display like in Mall of Asia. But some of us prepared to spend their new years eve with their loved ones, such as family, friends and relatives.

The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) invites everyone to join in the fun as they celebrate the “Rizal Park New Year Countdown to 2011” at the Rizal Park Musical Dancing Fountain starting at 9:00 p.m. of December 31, 2010 up to January 1, 2011.

Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim will spearhead the “Rizal Park New Year Countdown to 2011” and it will be hosted by Radio DJ and TV Reporter Leila Chikadora.

“Countdown to 2011 at the Rizal Park” is a special project of the National Parks Development Committee, under Executive Director Juliet H. Villegas, to provide the public with an alternative way in welcoming the new year, free of charge.
