Back to WOW! Philippines Again - Department of Tourism

The Wow! Philippines slogan was formed during the time of former Tourism Secretary Richard Gordon. And today issue about the new slogan of Philippine tourism was down by the Palace for not being effective to catch tourist.

Department of Tourism regional executive director Edwin Trompeta said that the sudden change in the tourism branding and slogan has sparked enthusiasm among stakeholders, tourist and public.

So He said that the clamor on changing the slogans of Department of Tourism (DOT) only showed that the public was aware of the tourism industry as well as its contribution to economy.

Today! Lim said over a radio interview on Friday that the Department of Tourism (DOT) would go back to the old slogan "Wow! Philippines" after the controversial Pilipinas Kay Ganda slogan.
