Alcatel is Back - Alcatel OneTouch Net Phone

Alcatel announced to make a comeback in the Philippines, which is before a one of the hottest mobile brand of the country. And they plan to launch of a new smart phone—the first of a line.

The new phone, the OneTouch net, enters the market with a suite of features already seen in most devices available today. With a qwerty keyboard, looks very much like BlackBerry and Nokia devices.

However, the new Alcatel has an ace up its sleeve: its price. At an introductory price of P4,999, the OneTouch net is an easy addition to anyone's Christmas list.

With just a touch of a button, users of OneTouch Net will be able to send e-mails and instant messages to their contacts. However, the absence of 3G connectivity, which means using the Internet may not be as fast as when using more expensive phones. And the phone's inability to connect to Wi-Fi networks.
