The Valentine's Day

February 14th of this year 2009, The Month of Heart, since it was started in the time of the roman empire, in ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honor Juno. Juno was the Queen of the roman God's and Goddesses. The Romans also knew her as the Goddess of women and marriage. Actually, the valentines story that was a long long time ago during the third century of Romans allies.




And years come to past and now in the modern time we still celebrating this holiday, the month of heart. And because we want our partner to be happy, we conjures up images of romance - a dozen roses, dinner by candlelight, a heart-shaped box of chocolates. One can scarcely think of the holiday though, without thinking of Cupid with his bow and quiver of arrows, poised to strike romance into unsuspecting hearts.

How sad to know if our cupid shoot his own heart by his arrow! what will happen to our Valentines day without are lovely cupid? hehehe just kidding dude. Cupid was a popular subject on the Victorian's extravagantly decorated valentines, and is still much in demand on today's current Hallmark cards. It seems that there are enduring themes surrounding this beloved holiday.

Cupid has his origins in Roman mythology as the god of love and sex. wow sound interesting aren't you? That's all folks and have a lovely and Happy Valentines day to all.
